Disability Football

"It's More Than Just

a Game"

In 2015 we officially founded F.C PHAB Liverpool which is our dedicated pan-disability football project. 

Our team competes in the Merseyside Day Centre League that takes place at Greenbank Sports Academy and Walton Park respectively and we provide regular training sessions for our players. Our current  trainng venue is St Francis of Asissi is Newsham Park, Liverpool, we have previously trained at Greenbank Sports Academy and Jubilee Sports Bank. 

To join our pan-disability football project, you need to be at least 16 years of age and have an ambulant disability. All of our players and coaches agreed to ensure we are able to provide a safe and welcoming environment we would introduce and adhere to a code of conduct. This was developed in consultation with our players, coaches and staff from F.C PHAB Liverpool. The motto of our team is "it's more than just a game" and we focus on ensuring we create opportunities for our players to participate in competitive games and training sessions.

Our F.C PHAB Liverpool team is affiliated to the Football Association, and we have worked closely with the County F.A to set up of disability football project and also to provide our training sessions. Our Team Manager and coaches have a vast experience of working in the pan-disability football sector across Merseyside, we also have members that have been selected to play in the Special Olympics.
